Married to Stossa and owned by the Pug named Princess Butters McNuggets, I have been a web designer for 13 years now.  Currently, I do web design for the 3rd largest credit union in the world and I also do freelance work. I have my sister site currently in the works for my new design company (http://www.toyboxdesign.com).

My story is a rather crazy one.  After six years of school with a degree in CIS/Accounting and a few years of Graphic Design, I up and decided that the mid-west wasn’t for me.  Just never really fit in there, I suppose.  On a whim, I up and moved, no job or anything, to the West Coast.  See, the funny thing here is that I originally moved out here to get closer to LA as I had delusions of being a singer.  I am an avid karaoke freak, but that’s another story.  I soon found living the starving artist’s life wasn’t for me and was hired on at the credit union and worked my way back up the ladder to being a web designer…again (as I was previous to said move). 

I’ve been everything from a disc jockey to a network administrator/manager in my life.  I’m very proud to say that I never once had to flip burgers when I was a kid as I lucked out and got to be a disc jockey for my first job.  Eat that.  Now, I think the web design choice is the best for me as it appeals to the artsy nerd that I am at heart.

More things about me are that I love cooking.  I love being creative in the kitchen.  I have a few recipes on here I’ll share with all of you, and I’ll also share the more than occasional blunder (usually involving an injury in the kitchen).  I’m sorely addicted to the Food Network and should probably consider buying stock in that channel as it would just seem right. 

Another hobbie, I have only recently developed is knitting.  I’ll admit, like the uber-nerd I am, I started all of this after reading/watching Harry Potter.  Scoff at my silliness if you want, they’re damn good books.  So I have this ginormous scarf from the Prisoner of Azkaban that I’m almost done with and will share once complete.

My last hobbies that I will share are all somewhat entertwined so I’ll mention them all together: role-playing, writing, and character illustration.  I’ve been gaming since I can remember.  I’ve also created my own RPG (Lizard Games (c)) I will offer free on this site once I get it in written form to use.  I love to draw the characters out and usually cannot help myself from writing all about them.  The writings I will not be sharing because eventually a few I want to publish, however I may give you some of the images of the characters for fun!  I may also share some of the FanFiction of many various genres here as well, who knows?
